"This is the best museum that I have seen in for indegenious people of the amazon, many many beautiful head addresses, costumes, paintings, pottery, photos, sculptures, carvings, old time machines to product Guarana, rubber and manoca. Modern day artistry. The guides were very well versed and multilingual. This is a must stop while in Manaus, closed Sunday, Monday. Too add a nice fish resterant right next to the museum, excellent security all around a really nice complex."

"By far the best museum in Manaus that I have been to! There are two main expositions which include Indigenous items and descriptions about e.g. Indigenous and local traditions in Manaus. But truly the best thing about the museum were the guides! A big shoutout to Glória and Raina, who did not only speak amazing English but also explained everything very thoroughly. To top it off, there was also a performance by the Balé Folclórico do Amazonas the day I visited (Wednesday 16 April, 2025) plus a market so I highly suggest checking the Manaus Cultural Agenda before going!"
