"Attended mass in Portuguese. Very passionate priest and a very friendly congregation."
Roger Van Gramberg
"At first glance, this place doesn't look extremely "exciting". I was even surprised I had to pay $2 to check out their museum... and holy cow am I glad I checked it out!!!! This place is low-key magical. The gold room is a spectacle to behold, and this is a must see if you are visiting Rio!!! I did not expect to love it so much, but I did! The building is old and FYI their bathrooms don't have toilet paper, but you cannot miss seeing this beautiful sight!"
Jasmine Rosario
"Climbing the stairs might be a challenge for some, but the museum beside it is worth it along with the view from the church. The interior seems to be going a restoration work. By the yard are a religous store and small eatery."
