The organisers had the wonderful idea to use children as guides. These give visitors a tour of the museum and a short history of the discovery of Brazil.
The entrance fee is 30 reais, which is worth it. Our guide, Carlos, was very intelligent and made the tour both interesting and funny.
Given the importance of this place in Brazil's history, would be great if there was more investment in this museum."

"What? About US$7.50 for a ticket whose museum has few interesting attractions? No, not again. That was the first and last time I'll be there.
The ship is interesting but they could have paid more attention to details.
The native Indian house on the way to the ship is amazing. How come so many indians could have shared a house like that? Well, maybe they used to sleep in hammocks on the top of one another or whatever.
Pay close attention to monkeys. They are interesting and show up whenever smell some food around arriving.
Other than that, the Brazilian State Government should have paid attention to tourists and better preserve what nature has given."
