What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ponta do Corumbau is lauded as a breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil beach destination, with its unique sand spit at low tide being a major highlight. Visitors rave about the pristine nature, calm waters, and charming beachfront dining. However, some mention crowds and cleanliness issues near the lighthouse area, and the journey can be challenging.
"A must if you are in Caraíva. One of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. Completely isolated, accessible only by a buggy ride through an indigenous reserve. The Corumbau river meets the ocean here and the result is stunning. When the tide goes down a strip of sand appears and you can walk all the way to the spot where both bodies of water run into each other, it’s magical. On top of that there’s a great beach bar with excellent food, flavourful drink, cool music and good service. Top notch!"

"Amazing place! You gotta take a buggy and a small boat and walk around 20 min. To get to the bars with infrastructure and it is all worth! Beautiful view, good food and beverage options, quiet waters. A must if you’re around"
Bruna Carvalho
"Crowded and dirty around the farol, at least when I was there: mountains of glass bottels every where, dirt and parked cars scattered. The Ponta itself worth the visit in low tide."
