"Best location in Morro. Make sure you book one of the rooms with a private balcony and views. It’s worth it! The higher up it is, the most extraordinary the view. ( you need to be fit though) 😊
The staff were incredibly attentive to our needs. I would definitely go back to Morro and stay there again.
A major plus at the hotel was the massage my partner and I had from Katiane. She is just ‘Amazing’ and knows what she’s doing. I wish we could take her on all our trips :)
Thank you Portalo for a fabulous stay."

"We loved our stay at Portaló.
We stayed in the ‘Victor Hugo’ luxe chalet near the very top of the property, and it was well worth the upgrade for the privacy and the exceptional view over the water.
Yes, there’s many steps to climb up from reception…but it was good exercise after so many moquecas!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Special shout out to Katiane, the massage therapist, for her amazing hands and caring approach. I wish we’d stayed longer so we could have more massages with her!
This is an ideal hotel for people who want to be away from the hectic main beaches.
You can catch a taxi boat for 10 reais to Gamboa if you want to go to the beach without a long walk. Would definitely come back!"
