Reviews Summary
Praia do Jabaquara offers a unique experience with its very warm, shallow waters, making it excellent for kayaking and SUP. While some visitors find the water quality and cleanliness disappointing, others enjoy the local atmosphere at the beachfront kiosks and the dramatic tidal changes. It's a beach best suited for water sports and relaxation rather than traditional swimming.
"Was not a big fan of this beach. It was dirty, I literally had dirty drops all around my body when I got out of the water. It was really peculiar as the water was probably the warmest water I have ever been in in my life. It felt like entering a hot spring and as you may expect, algae thrives in such environment. I guess it is so warm because the whole bay is incredibly shallow. It is a great jumping off point for kayaking though. If you want a nice beach experience though, you will have to take the bus and ride to the surrounding beaches. And yes, they clean horses in the water."

"Dirty, muddy, green and warm water. Even the beach itself isnât clean. Literally no one was swimming in the water.
I have no idea why this thing has such good reviews. Avoid it."

"I loved it!! đđđ Tide is low in the morning. From 11/12 midday tide slowly becomes higher and almost no sand is left bu 4 pm. At the same time that tide starts, wind comes along which is good to get some hot air flowing but for people doing kayaking or SUP is better to do it in the morning. There's several kiosks with food and drinks and some have music. I stayed close to the last kiosk which had the best chilled samba and full of local people. Not a lot of people cne here for swimming as the water is kind of brownish. But of course you can get into the water"
