"The view from the top is really, really awesome. There are nice places to relax and meditate, too. Yes, I think you should visit this place during your trip to Rio de Janeiro.😁"

"Incredible view of Rio below.
We went on a day that was (sadly) a bit overcast and it was difficult to see all the sights well, although a large sign is posted with an image of how the different landmarks can be seen and identified from this spot. The pavilion is quite beautiful and with a roof that shines in the sun like brass or copper.
You can drive up, but we saw many people walking or biking up the steep and winding roads, the trails look awesome and I wished I had budgeted time to hike through some of the dense trees and foliage there in the Tijuca park. I'm sure you will want to do standard hiking prep of good shoes and lots of insect repellent.
The view from both Vista Chinesa and from the Emperors table are well worth the time and trouble to get there, spectacular."
