What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Hotnitsa Waterfall's stunning natural beauty, particularly the main cascade and the scenic wooden walkways. Many appreciate the free entry and the opportunity to explore further up the eco-trail for more secluded falls, though this requires proper footwear. Some note that facilities can be limited or closed, and the upper trails can be steep and slippery.
"Very nice place, the trick is that behind the first one there are another waterfalls, but the path to reach them is recommended to be taken only with proper gear, especially proper shoes, as is not easy and quite slippery when wet outside. But is very nice as the scenery is rewarding."

"What an amazing place, it's one of my favorite places in Bulgaria.
Such a quiet, peaceful location and a wonderful eco trail! I've been here many times and i still revisit with enthusiasm and pleasure!
Tickets are not needed for visiting.
There is plenty of parking but too bad that all the locations were closed, it was awkward that all the tables were there, with chairs, tablecloths and everything else but nothing was open."
Queen Rennee
"Went there with my girlfriend last week and it was totally worth the trip!
I would advise to prepare yourself for some (very) steep terrain at some places and of course beautiful views.
The full length of the path is around 25 / 30 minutes.
There is a little shop from which you can buy water, coffee and other drinks, and some snacks.
Parking is free and fairly unoccupied, it is also right next to the waterfall so you needn't worry about that.
Most importantly, there is a cute family of cats roaming the nearby grounds 😁"
