Best and worst of living in Sofia as a single woman (who likes the sea/water)?
Hi all, I've been looking for a new city/country to relocate to and Sofia is one of the places I'm considering. I've been here for about 10 days, and what I dislike most about it is that it's not near the sea, nor is there even a river running through town, and I do need to be…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Iskar Reservoir is lauded as a beautiful, free-access natural escape perfect for water sports, camping, and family fun. Visitors appreciate the serene environment and the opportunity for outdoor activities. However, the lack of facilities like restrooms and the persistent issue of litter left by some visitors are significant drawbacks that detract from the otherwise pristine experience.
"Love this lake. Camping is free. Unfortunately because of that there's no bathroom accommodation. I still don't understand how people can come to a beautiful place like this and leave their trash behind. There's broken glass on the shore and other rubbish. There are large containers at the end of the road people are not utilizing them. It's a great place to camp and paddle . Please give a hoot don't pollute! Keep it free Keep it clean."

"Beautiful place to calm and enjoy some water activities during warm weather.
Very enjoyable if you bring your sup equipment. The water is always flat with little exception of few boats passing from time to time. There's a vending machine at the entrance where you can get drinks, snacks and coffee.
Please clean after yourself when you leave ❤"
