Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Anlung Pring for its beautiful nature, the chance to see rare Sarus cranes, and the authentic rural Cambodian experience. The ecotourism model and support for local villages are highly appreciated. Some travelers noted challenges with transportation logistics and suggested improvements for photography amenities.

"If you like nature and want to learn about rural life, you definitely have to visit it. We booked a two day guided tour in a homestay and with the help of our great guide Bona we were able to see the Sarus cranes and we learned a lot about rural life. The homestay was also nice even with the language differences. For the price paid it was really worth it, we still have great memories of those two days in our six week trip to Cambodia (a year ago). The only thing that can get a bit complicated is how to get there if you don't drive a motorcycle yourself. If you decide to get there with a tuk tuk, (like we did) make sure the tuk tuk driver knows the way and that the last part of the road there is not so good. Also note that it is not possible to find a tuk tuk for the way back (fortunately, our guide drove us back to Kep). Still, it was a great experience for us and we were glad to contribute a little bit with our visit to this great Ecotourism in Anlung Pring."
