Reviews Summary

Bat Chum Temple is praised for its peaceful solitude and historical significance, offering a quiet escape from busier sites. While currently undergoing restoration, its three brick towers remain a point of interest. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the temple's humble beauty, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking a more intimate historical experience.

"Because it is out of the way, and away from thr more popular sites, the temple gets less traffic than elsewhere. The three towers were under some restoration work at the time of my visit (2024), but were still open to visit. Climbing onto the ruins is prohibited but the staff around the temple are friendly and happy to have some visitors."

"Kim and I went on an impromptu countryside Drive down the dirt roads and thought that we would end up at a different temple and ran across this one. Small but profound. I’m happy that we made it out here."

Riel Khmerican (Aaron)

"Currently under renovation, you can enjoy it from the outside but you can’t climb the stairs. The staff member there didn’t even ask for the ticket. Overall a nice stop on your way to the bigger temples, you only need a couple of minutes to walk around"
