"It was not very busy, weekday end of summer. The staff were friendly, engaging and informative. There are activities for kids that mine took advantage of and enjoyed. A costume and toy gun were provided for the outdoor activities. My 10 year old son enjoyed it so much he went twice in two days . There are Picnic tables along the lower parking lot (the upper parking lot is ♿️) that have lovely views."

"When I visited Fort Beauséjour – Fort Cumberland, I was really impressed by how much history is packed into this place. Walking around the star-shaped earthworks, I could almost imagine the battles that took place here and the people who lived through those times.

The museum inside helped me understand the stories of the French, British, Acadians, and Indigenous peoples connected to the site. It wasn’t just facts — it felt like stepping back in time.

I spent a good couple of hours exploring the grounds and soaking in the peaceful views of the marshlands and bay nearby. The contrast between the calm nature around me and the intense history was pretty striking.

From my side, visiting Fort Beauséjour was a meaningful and enjoyable experience — a perfect mix of history, nature, and learning. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"I never thought that I’d enjoy this as much as I did. More than intriguing, definitely gave you a sense of what our ancestors went through to protect the surrounding land & provinces. The areas & tunnels you could walk through were deeply provoking emotions wise. It is kept up really well & the mini museum was nice as well as the staff! A great experience to share with my father & him be able to share stories of his relatives that served. I’ll cherish this day always."
