"I've been to plenty of provincial parks but never, until now, have I been to one that operates more like a private park.
If you're looking for privacy you won't find it here. Large Trailers & Campers park side by side. Tent camping is a bit better but everything is pretty much open space with a few trees here and there. Want a hot shower 🚿 it'll cost you a dollar for 5 minutes. That's what the sign says but 2 coins later it was still cold.
The staff however are great, even got my 2 dollars back. The park and facilities were clean with plenty of garbage cans placed throughout the park. As for the beach, you have to drive to it, or expect a long walk."

"It is always a pleasure to come here as I only live minutes away. The beach is clean, and the restrooms are impeccable. I wish they would be open the entire year and not just the main season. Not a suitable place to go if you have dogs as their presence on the beach is not allowed. In the off-season it is possible to take your dogs to the beach. Unfortunately, many dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. It is understandable that some visitors will complain after stepping in dog feces. If everybody were responsible and cleaned up after their dogs the experience of visiting the park in winter would be better for everyone!
