What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Belwood Village and Harbour is praised as a well-maintained, tranquil park with beautiful lake views and extensive nature trails, making it a hidden gem for picnics and outdoor activities. While the beach and fishing pond have some drawbacks, the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful escape close to the city.
"It was nice to be there, as it was a quite and shady place. Well maintained with lot of bins everywhere. Nice lake for people who have their own boats, I would say nice dock for boat launching. Only reason I m giving three stars because beach was a joke, dirty and muddy water and literally hard to find. This is because there are no signs just one in the entrance. Overall it is nice place to visit for the picnic as they have lot of bunches kinda stuff. Nice dam view but water looks dirty."

"Lovely park with some great views. Not crowded like the mainstream areas and quite well maintained. We really enjoyed our evening hike on a sunny weekend evening! Close proximity to GTA and the nearby Elora town adds an old world charm. Perfect place for a hike with family and friends."

"This is a nice park for relaxing and having a picnic. I went on a saturday in july and there was a lot of available areas for my family and I to choose from. Unfortunately the beach was at capacity so no comment on that. The kid's fishing pond is a great idea but it was not very kid friendly, as it had a steep dip. Be sure to take a walk along the top of the dam."
