What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Brentwood Bay Marina is highly praised for its beautiful location, excellent resort amenities like the pool and spa, and friendly, attentive staff. Boaters appreciate the convenient services such as free showers, Wi-Fi, and daily garbage pickup. However, some guests note potential issues with dock stability for larger vessels and a lack of amenities like hairdryers in the shower facilities.
"Brentwood bay Marina is a lovely spot to moor. We stayed here for one night with a 68 foot Tollycraft.
Pros: marina has shore power with many outlets for convenience
Free showers with high end soap, shampoo and conditioner provided
Wifi included
Daily garbage pick up at your boat at 10 am
Towels provided with access to a pool and hot tub
Attached to a resort with a spa, restaurant and bar
Quiet
Parked in M11 starboard tie that has a very stable dock
Small but useful fitness room for marina guests only
Laundry ( but only one washer and dryer and require coins)
Spent the day at the spa which was amazing. Shout out to Kathy from the Yukon who gave me the most amazing massage.
Cons:
Originally asked to park in G02 which they say can fit up to 75’ if you tie up port side. However I disagree as it vastly encroaches on boats trying to access the marina on your bow side. Additionally it has a metal ladder that hangs down one side that would scratch the boat and is an unstable dock( my thoughts are that it would fit a 60’ comfortably-however the dock is unstable. )
Steep slope up to amenities at the resort if you have mobility issues
No hairdryers in the bathrooms. Perhaps you could offer a sign out for one at the Marina office
No hooks on the shower area that I used. It resulted in my stuff getting sprayed from shower water. Would be ideal to have a few hooks. A towel bar was provided which was appreciated."

"Our Club, with it's 11 boats (22 people), made Brentwood Bay 1 of 6 stops on our 2025 Commodore's Cruise and we are so glad we did! First of all, entering Brentwood Bay from Saanich Inlet was breathtaking with soring lush green hills that flow into incredibly calm waters. We were greeted with smiles by dockhands who seemed to really care about making sure we were welcome. Once the staff made sure all lines on our boat were secure, they assisted with shorepower, handed us beach towels for use at the resort's pool and briefed us on what the resort has to offer. BB is beautiful, with all the amenities of a world class resort.
The resort catered a BBQ dinner that was outstanding in a private room with a million dollar view overlooking the bay. Butchart Gardens by dinghy with dinner at the Butchart family home and concert afterwords made this stop on our cruise really something special.
Hats off to Chris, Claire and the gang for making us feel so special. We'll be back!"

"We made reservations easily for our boat at their well maintained and appointed marina. We had use of a small, but we'll appointed workout area with weight bench weights, stationary bike, elliptical and multi gym. The pool and hot tub were clean and temperatures were perfect. Pool towels and morning garbage pickup at the boat were an included perk.
All the staff were friendly, professional and attentive.
The on-site pub and restaurant were well run and had options for all onboard."
