Reviews Summary

Bridal Falls Waterpark is often praised for its family-friendly atmosphere, especially for young children, with accessible features and heated slides. However, some visitors have encountered issues with unexpected slide closures, inconsistent communication, and unprofessional staff, leading to disappointment regarding value and safety concerns. Reddit

"Was a great experience esp for the little ones!!
Reasonable pricing and free parking with in and out privileges.
It was easy to visit.
We will definitely be back!

Ps most of the food was sold-out.
We had to dine elsewhere."

Rahim Kaba

"We recently visited Bridal Falls Waterpark hoping to support a local business, but the experience was shocking and unacceptable. The tube slide is still closed, yet patrons are charged full admission. The website claimed all body slides were open, which was the main reason we went. When we arrived, my children lined up for the body slides only for me to notice there was no water running. I asked a lifeguard, and he casually said they were still doing repairs and waiting for them to set, which would take at least 30 minutes. That 30 minutes quietly turned into over 2.5 hours without any announcement over the PA system or notification to guests.

Opening times for the body slides kept changing constantly. Guests were asking lifeguards every few minutes for updates, but the staff were evasive and unhelpful. Management in the office was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic about the delays. No announcements were made to inform anyone about the situation.

The lifeguards were completely unprofessional. They allowed people to linger and sit in front of the body slides, even occupying platforms marked “Lifeguard Only.” The fundamental rule of clearing the pool as soon as people exit the slides was ignored. One child accidentally splashed a lifeguard while exiting the water, and the lifeguard yelled at the child. These lifeguards behave like a mean-girls or mean-boys gang rather than professionals. They should be fired immediately and replaced with mature lifeguards who understand their responsibility to keep guests safe.

Why are repairs being done while the park is open? Considering the serious injuries that happened on the tube slide last year, this raises severe concerns about the park’s overall safety practices. Charging full price when most attractions are unavailable is unacceptable. The ongoing repairs during operating hours are a blatant safety hazard, and Technical Safety BC should flag this immediately. The park needs more inspections and stricter oversight.

While my children waited at the top of the hill for the body slides, no lifeguard was present to tell them the slides were closed. I had to personally tell a lifeguard to go up and notify the kids. This is a dangerous oversight. What if a child had gone down a slide under repair? Unsupervised slides are an accident waiting to happen.

Many families, including ours, drive out here every year with the intention of supporting a local business. After the horrific accident last year in which people were seriously injured, we were hesitant but gave the park the benefit of the doubt. That trust has been completely undermined by this visit. The combination of ongoing repairs during park hours, unprofessional and inattentive staff, misleading advertising, and rude management makes this park unsafe and unreliable.

Management needs to take immediate action. Lifeguards must understand that their job is to protect guests, not socialize or act like they are above the rules. Until serious safety and staffing issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this park to anyone. Cultus Lake offers a far superior experience and much better value for the price. (*See photos)"

"This place is perfect for kids 5 and under. Adults and everyone else, it's s just a kiddie pool. All the slides were closed minus two very small kid slides. On the plus side it was not busy at all. Hot tub was perfect temp. Staff was friendly and helpful."

Navigating Bridal Falls Waterpark with Little Ones

Bridal Falls Waterpark is frequently praised for its suitability for toddlers and very young children. Its accessible design, free of stairs, makes it incredibly easy to navigate with strollers and little legs. The presence of a shallow pool and smaller slides allows even the youngest visitors to enjoy the water safely. Many parents appreciate that water-wings are allowed on the slides, which can be a game-changer for kids who are new to waterslides or need a little extra confidence. InstagramReddit+1

One reviewer specifically mentioned taking their 2.5-year-old and finding plenty of fun, with options for them to slide alone or with an adult. The park's layout also makes it easier for parents to keep track of their children, a significant plus for a busy waterpark environment. The heated water on all slides ensures that even if the weather isn't scorching hot, the kids can still have a comfortable and enjoyable time splashing around. Instagram+1

Understanding the Slide Experience

The water slides at Bridal Falls Waterpark are a major draw, with the unique feature of heated water on all of them. This means you can enjoy the slides regardless of the ambient temperature. Visitors can choose between tube slides and body slides, catering to different preferences. Some slides are faster when you lay down and slower when you sit up, adding a fun element of control. Instagram

However, it's important to be aware that slide availability can vary. Some reviews mention specific slides being closed for repairs, which can be disappointing if that was a primary reason for your visit. Communication about these closures has been noted as an area for improvement by some guests. Despite potential closures, there are usually enough slides open to provide a full day of entertainment. Reddit

Value and Pricing Considerations

Bridal Falls Waterpark offers a few pricing options to consider. The standard all-day admission is around $32, with children under 2 entering for free. This can be a great way to enjoy the slides without committing to a full day. Instagram

While the pricing is generally seen as reasonable, especially with free parking and in-and-out privileges, some visitors have expressed concerns when attractions are unavailable.
