What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Beachway Park is praised for its beautiful fine white sand and calm, shallow waters, making it a great spot for families and swimmers. Visitors enjoy the scenic waterfront trail for cycling and walks. However, parking can be a significant issue, especially on weekends, and facility availability can be inconsistent.
"Sandy beach with ample parking space, accessible washroom and change room. There's also a portable toilet for additional comfort. The stretch of the beach area has shady parts perfect for picnics and for those who just wanted to enjoy the breeze without being exposed to the sun. The water is shallow (talking about 50meters from the shore and it is still shallow), it's perfect for little swimmers. The fine white sand complements the beauty of the place."

"while the beach itself is great, there were a few things that could be better. The parking situation is a nightmare you can hardly find a spot. When I was there, there was no lifeguard on duty, the only bathrooms were portable toilets, and there weren’t any proper washrooms. Also, the beach is pretty close to the highway, so it can get a bit noisy. Despite all that it’s still a nice place to hang out if you can deal with the parking and don’t mind the lack of facilities."

"Had a great day SUP boarding here, easy to do as the water is pretty calm.
Glad to see the beach is in good condition and in a well maintained state. I hope it stays that way for I'll certainly return to cycle the path and paddle here.
Water is cool but refreshing on a hot day although sometimes a bit smelly.
So far I haven't grown a third limb so hopefully it truly is a clean, swimmable, local beach."
