"Amazing view of Lake Ontario and the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway. Well marked trail with the option to climb stairs to get an aerial view or to walk across the beach side. Peregrine falcon spotted and plenty of pigeons and gulls. Access to the lighthouse was blocked last we visited."

"Nice older lift bridge. Well maintained for how frequently it is used. Quiet and sturdy when passing over. Quite when rising and lowering as well. Pedestrians walks available. Trails lead to and from it. Nice area for pictures and has a nice old lighthouse next to it. Do be careful when the bridge is in operation while on foot. There is no barrier. Use sound judgement and watch your children."

"Honestly this is the worst managed canal bridge. When on ramps to the highway are closed, guess what: the canal bridge is either in the air for 1 hour for a tiny sail boat or closed. Hire me to manage the bridge and I can guarantee that people won't be stuck in grid lock traffic for no reason. As I write this, I am stuck under the skyway bridge. No boats passing. Bridge in the air. Great work everyone 👏"
