What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mundy Park is widely praised as an exceptional urban green space, particularly for its fantastic treetop playground and extensive, peaceful forest trails. Dog owners rave about the dedicated off-leash areas and fenced dog park. While parking can be busy on weekends, the park's natural beauty and family-friendly amenities make it a beloved local gem.
"Mundy Park is one of my favorite spots to take my dog on a regular basis. There are a couple of small off-leash trail loops on the southeast corner of the park where dogs can roam freely all day, and it's perfect for a relaxing, flat forest walk. The atmosphere is peaceful, and you’ll almost always run into a few other friendly dogs — sometimes a whole pack!
There’s also a large fenced dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, which is great if your dog prefers enclosed spaces. It’s a good spot to play fetch or socialize your dog.
If you go early (before 10am), many of the other trails allow off-leash access too, and the full trail network is quite extensive — great for longer walks and exploration.
There are bathrooms and water fountains right at the entrance, and the East parking lot on Mariner Way is the most convenient for dog owners since it’s right next to the dog park and all day off-leash trails.
Parking is usually easy, but it can get full on weekends or nice days.
Highly recommended for dog owners looking for a peaceful, well-rounded place to exercise and socialize their pups!"
