What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Galaxyland offers a fun indoor amusement park experience with a variety of rides, including new Hasbro-themed attractions. While considered pricey, many find the all-day pass offers good value, especially on weekdays when lines are shorter. Some visitors note the park is showing its age, but the convenience of being inside West Edmonton Mall and the range of rides for different ages make it a popular choice for families and visitors.
"GALAXYLAND West Edmonton Mall. Lots of rides the whole fam Jam will find fun! Great for a day away from the regular grind. Plan to spend $45 per person to get in as the value compared to buying single tickets is significant! We attended during the weekday and we're glad we did as lineups were almost non-existent and running up to a ride and jumping on and having fun was almost instant! However I did notice signs that were turned around that said much like disneyland, from this sign there is a 1 hour wait plan accordingly! So it is clear that this place can get very very busy! We have been here dozens of times and are back again, great when family from out of town comes to visit. Guaranteed to put a smile on their face, add a dent in their wallet, LOL
This place has been here for many years and is starting to show its age. 90% of the rides were open and operational and people were taking shifts on and off according to popularity."

"I would say it’s pricey but it’s definitely worth it, as most places the lines can get up to around an hour or more wait but with fantasyland/galaxyland I can guarantee you it won’t be that busy. I say that because the longest line I saw was up to an hour meanwhile it was a long weekend so you can definitely see the lines won’t be that long especially for a long weekend like I just mentioned.
The overall amount of rides for children and adults was pretty fair, most children rides were under Hasbro related names. Personally I enjoyed majority of the rides I went on, my favourite being the space shot which launches you at least 100ft into the air where you then drop down at a pretty fast speed.
Galaxy land also offers many food vendors along with a food court next door. I spent a solid 7 hours here before eventually leaving at closing time (6pm). Although the mindbender sadly has been demolished, Galaxy land still feels like a perfect theme park to visit with many rides to try and enjoy.
-I visited on a Saturday."

"Fun experience visiting a theme park inside a mall. On its own Galaxyland is kinda just okay. There's only a few rides that could constitute proper thrill rides. But the fact its in a mall kinda overrides. We enjoyed a short walk through and a couple rides and had a fantastic time."

This strategic shift aims to keep the park fresh and exciting, drawing in families with familiar characters and interactive experiences.
Despite these changes, the park continues to offer a variety of rides for different age groups, from gentle coasters for children to more thrilling options for adults. The indoor setting within West Edmonton Mall also provides a unique advantage, allowing for year-round operation regardless of weather conditions.
Maximizing Your Galaxyland Experience
