Reviews Summary

The Fort Erie Farmers Market is generally well-regarded for its diverse vendors and fresh local produce, offering a pleasant shopping experience. However, one reviewer reported a negative encounter regarding produce quality and customer service, highlighting the importance of consistent positive interactions. Despite this, many appreciate the market's quaint atmosphere and the opportunity to support local businesses.

"There’s a sign at the register stating Be kind or leave. It’d be great if they practice the same policy. I was getting my fruit. I’m particular about my food, have my on way of choosing it. They were talking about how I done it and laughing at me. It’s bad enough a watermelon is $10.25. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I’m all for spending my money with small businesses, farmers markets, etc. I suggest you go elsewhere to spend your hard earned money with polite people. Had to give them at least one ⭐️. Very disappointed with this establishment. It was the female in her late 50’s early 60’s that was acting like a child. The melon was rotten. When I called they said no refunds. So I’m just out of my money, rude service, and no fruit to eat. Don’t waste your time stopping here"

"Went for a drive and ended up here. Cute and quaint little gem. Definately worth the trip if you want a relaxing afternoon. We had coffee and cookies at a local shop and just took in the scenery. If you want to avoid the crowds at NOTL head to Fort Erie and then take a drive along the shoreline."
