What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Goldie Mill Park for its scenic riverfront trails and the atmospheric, albeit inaccessible, historic mill ruins. The park offers a pleasant environment for leisurely walks and picnics, with nearby amenities adding to its appeal. However, parking can be difficult, and the trails can be quite buggy.
"It is a relatively small park. The trail runs along the river which is accessible friendly. There is another trail that runs directly beside the river, this trail is rough and can be filled with mosquitoes. There are often different events at this park. There is a very small parking lot, however it was full when I visited. There was street parking available as well but as the park is close to downtown, it can be difficult to get a spot. The park is also in close walking distance to Within the Grian Bakery and Park Street Eastery."

"A nice park with a speakers box."

"Rather disappointing, the old Mill is completely fenced off, with a city of Guelph website URL for an explanation, not very open and honest about why it's been hastily closed with construction fencing.
The remainder of the trails are very nice, smooth fine gravel or paved, wide enough for several to walk side by side, being near the water it was humid and very buggy."
