"Christie Lake Conservation Area is a fantastic place for walking, running, biking, canoeing, swimming! Bring the family, go alone but it’s absolutely breath taking.
There are several trails we did around the lake 6.4km well worth it. You cannot get lost there are several posts marked. We started at 22 but now I understand how to get to post 1 completed the whole lake almost two hours up and down through trails, steep hills, through grass it was different.
You cannot get enjoy picnic, disc golf, fishing. It’s worth it to buy an HCA membership pass this is my second lake and I’m already getting hooked onto trails. It’s truly a wonderful day to be in nature crossing paths with birds, snakes, turtles etc truly a serene feeling of peace!"

"Christie Conservation is a gem for an easy nature escape! We did the Round the Lake Trail, which is super accessible and well-marked with yellow blazes. Even if you lose sight of a marker, just follow the lake — you really can’t go wrong. The trail offers a nice mix of shaded areas and sunny spots, making it perfect for a relaxed walk.
It’s a great trail to bring your dog along (ours loved it!), just keep an eye out as it does cross paths with a bike trail in a few areas.
Beyond the trail, the park is a fantastic place to spend the day — there’s a kid-friendly beach, lots of open space for a picnic, and it’s an ideal spot for paddling too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor day with a bit of everything!
You do have to pay for entrance. For two people we paid $22."
