Reviews Summary

Visitors love Princess Point for its abundant wildlife, especially birds and baby animals in spring, and the unique winter skating opportunities. The accessible trails and well-maintained facilities are also frequently praised. Some find the water quality murky and the parking fee a bit high, but overall, it's a highly recommended spot for nature lovers.

"Love this spot in the spring for the baby animals. Love it in the winter for the skating and it’s monitored for thickness for safety. Usually able to find parking. Unfortunately it closes at dusk and the gates get closed. But it is for the sake of safety from coyotes. Very beautiful sights with tons of birds and trails. A must visit!"

"Great spot to put a canoe or kayak in the water. There are lots of Lilly pads you need to paddle through before getting into open water. Lots of parking it is a pay and display parking lot"

Susy McKenzie

"Great place to park and go kayaking! The parking lot is NOT FREE. there is a pay station... 15$ for maximum time.... Which I will gladly pay again when I go back. Clean bathrooms! Super kept up parking place and grass area, the city definitely keeps this place nice and pretty. The kayaking was amazing as well. I have never seen so many swans and ducks and geese and beautiful birds in one place...... The water is a little dirty with 🐦 💩 but incredible either way. 100% recommended for finishing/hiking/kayaking/canoeing! And of course bird watching ."
