"It is a great park for a family day out! There’s a main beach to relax at, a dedicated dog beach, and canoe/kayak rentals if you're feeling adventurous. There are plenty of volleyball nets around the park and great hiking trails for a bit of exploring. Some people were fishing as well.
The washrooms and change rooms by the beach are well-maintained. Overall, it's a great mix of fun and nature!
There is no shortage of parking either."

"This was my first trip out to Valens Lake Conservation Area and it didn't disappoint. Great layout of camp sites and easy access to the bathrooms and showers. This place also has great trails for biking or walking. The boardwalk is gorgeous in fall with all the leaves on trees changing colour and reflecting on the lake. I would definitely revisit Valens Lake!"

"Thought I have camped all my life I have never camped solo. A life changing situation happened, I wanted to be around nature, and pray. Grace Gospel Church in Niagara Falls had planned to go there for a weekend of fellowship, exactly what so needed. Deciding to stretch myself, I rented a spot with water and electricity, set up my camp and had fellowship at a campfire each night and church in the morning surrounded by nature and the beautiful of Valen’s Conservation Park. The staff were so helpful. The campers were “Happy Campers” The experience was great!!! Thank you, I will return."
