Reviews Summary

Jasper is a resilient town bravely rebuilding after a significant wildfire, offering breathtaking natural beauty and a strong sense of community. While many visitors praise its stunning landscapes and outdoor activities, some express frustration with confusing parking policies and the impact of pine beetle damage on the surrounding forests.

"A very important town that’s part of the national park system and rail. A courageous town that is recovering from a fire less than a year ago. I hope the town policy adjusts to the need for a fire break and that the national park leadership also agrees to ensure the safety for residents and guests. It was devastating to see the fires that wiped out a large portion of town. Kudos to all the firefighters saved the town."

"It was a nice exprience to visit Jasper. We were only spending a couple of hours, but the city has a lot of history and nice things to see.

Enjoy!"

Rasmus Birk Knudsen

"Poor parking policies. I was charged after paying for a parking spot. The explanation provided was that I parked in a no-parking zone. However, this spot had conflicting instructions and hours allowed for parking, with a pay station to enable parking. It's very bad on the part of the authorities, as they have deliberately made it confusing to extract money from tourists."
