What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kal Beach is celebrated for its stunning, color-changing lake waters and beautiful sandy shores, offering a picturesque setting for relaxation and family fun. Visitors appreciate the warm, shallow water and the convenience of the pier and nearby rail trail access. However, some reviews mention issues with beach cleanliness and occasional restroom closures, which can detract from the overall experience.
"Kal Beach is a beautiful spot with stunning views and clear water, perfect for family outings and enjoying the outdoors. However, it does come with a couple of inconveniences. Parking is available for free, but you’ll need to walk a bit from the lot to reach the beach area. Additionally, the closure of the restroom facilities during our visit put a damper on our time there, as it made things less convenient, especially with family members. Despite these minor setbacks, the beach’s natural beauty still makes it worth a visit!"
Junes Tran
"Very nice beach with soft sand and huge trees for great shade. Water is very warm where it’s shallow (which much of it is), and the pier reaches the deeper part, perfect for jumping off. Nicely sectioned off from the boating activity, and great views of Kalamalka."
Maximillian Kinsberg
"Beautiful setting on a world class lake but the beach was filthy. Needs a good cleaning and raking. Bathrooms are passable but could use an update. I was very disappointed and would think twice about bringing visitors."
