What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find L-Lake Management Area to be a pleasant, accessible spot for short hikes, particularly enjoying the western trails and water views. While not challenging, it serves as a good entry point to nearby Forested Dunes and is ideal for families and beginners. Some eastern trails can be prone to flooding, which may impact the full trail experience.
"It's an okay loop but not much to see and not very challenging. You have to use this trail to access Forestest Dunes. Not worth driving far to do. I only did it to complete the LSNT Blazers Award."
Louis Cormier
"quite enjoyed the trails, especially the first loop in the west. The trail to the east was not well maintained and I ran into quite considerable flooding half way through. I had to cut into the bush to skirt the water on the trail for some distance so after 30 minutes of that I turned back. As a result \I did not make it to the Mud Creek at the end. Apparently the bridge is down but that would not have mattered as |I only intended to walk the entire trail and not cross over into the residential area. The area is really quite scenic and thoroughly enjoyable minus the flooding part half way through. Maybe in a drier season the creek will not be as high and the trail will be passable."

"Beautiful spot with a couple spots to look out over the water."
