Visitors rave about Kaloya Regional Park, consistently praising the stunning turquoise waters of Kalamalka Lake and the park's serene, scenic beauty. It's highly recommended for paddleboarding, kayaking, and family picnics, though some note the water is cool and the beach rocky. The presence of geese is a minor drawback for some.

"Such a beautiful park and trail that meanders around the point. Quiet, scenic. Beautiful photo ops of nature and the gorgeous Kalamalka Lake. We’ve been here many times and plan to again soon."

Shirley J Harshenin

"My favourite lake in the Okanagan so far, crystal clear and beautiful water, lots of space, not a lot of boats. Ideal for paddle boards. The water is not warm but is also not unbearably cold. There’s washrooms and a lot of green space to sit for a family picnic. Out of every lake and park we visited in this region, this is the only one that gets a 10 out of 10. With a paddle board or kayak you can easily reach the other side of the lake too, which is pretty nice for chilling away from other people."

Lucas Rabello Simões

"This is an amazing spot for paddle boarding. Beautiful lake and grass area for a picnic. It's a rocky beach, I suggest water shoes. My kids wore crocs and it was perfect to walk in the water."
