The boat tours are highly praised for their engaging guides and incredible views, while motorboat rentals offer a unique, personalized adventure. Some find the area can get crowded, and wildlife encounters, while exciting, require caution.

"Incredible tour. The views from the boat are stunning. The crew provides a brief history of the lake and the people that have lived there, and interacts with the attendees in a fun and engaging manner. This is a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon."

Trevor Woods

"Excellent experience. The view of the lake and the mountains are absolutely stunning and you get some history of the area from one of the 2 captains. Mackenzie our captain driving the boat did a magnificent job and Olivia our tour guide captain was funny and engaging. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area."

zach Kirkland

"We rented a motorboat and it was an amazing experience! Hamish helped us and he was great, he showed us how to drive the boat and gave us confidence. It was our favourite activity in Banff, absolutely worth the time and money. The rental was just over $160 for 1 hour and the boat fits up to 5 people. Lake Minnewanka is absolutely gorgeous. It was so peaceful and incredible. They open at 10am and I recommend being there first thing, registration was quick and very smooth. By the time we were leaving just past 11am, the place had started filling up with a lot more people."
