What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Steelhead Falls for its stunning, multi-layered cascade and the short, scenic hike to reach it. The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere are frequently praised, making it a delightful spot for a quick nature escape. However, the small parking lot is a recurring issue, often leading to frustration for those arriving later in the day.
"This place is hidden on the side of the road. You'll have to stay alert once you're about to reach so that you don't miss the turn. Also, in the map, look for "Steelhead Falls". It'll take you to the parking lot, where, if you're lucky you can get a spot. Otherwise, I saw people park on the roadside which is not advised of course. There's a public washroom which is only for emergencies. I repeat "only for emergencies". The trail is pretty easy and takes around 15 minutes to reach these falls and it is a absolute delight to see it. You have multiple spots from where you can see the falls without obstruction. If you're adventurous enough, you can climb down too to get really up close with these gorgeous falls. 10/10 recommend. Note: please be mindful of the nature around you. Thanks! 🙏"

"I accidentally discovered Steelhead Park while searching for parks nearby, and I’m so glad I did! I love that the trail has some ups and downs — it’s great for exercise — and there’s plenty of shade surrounded by beautiful trees. The fall scenery was stunning. The round trip to the falls took me about 40 minutes, but next time I plan to go further along another trail and make it a 2-hour hike. I just wish I’d brought a sandwich to enjoy while taking in the view! Oh I saw a pillar of cloud:)"

"Cute, local spot, quiet and very easy for any level. Could use a bit more parking.
The walk to the falls is literally 15-20mims and the walk back felt even faster. Bring some water on a hot day, it gets humid on the walk during the summer months."
