Cooksville Four Corners is recognized as a historically significant and culturally vibrant heart of Mississauga, appreciated for its diverse community and local businesses. While the ongoing construction and traffic can be challenging, visitors are encouraged to embrace the area's spirit of kindness and inclusivity.
"This has been a memorable place since 2004 as a new immigrant. Would take Mississauga public transit or go to the RBC bank.
At the other side, across Hurontario, there’s a good number of small businesses such as salons, grocery ethnic shops and tax return offices. Always traffic due to road closures and construction."

"Welcome to OUR\MY corner! 🤓🤷🏻♂️🥰I hope you'll enjoy your time in the city but please be kind around this corner. So many wonderful people many remain but many are no longer with us.😥
Please if you are reading this be kind to people in the area don't judge people because this used to be the heart of a Vibrant Community with locals who cared about each other & our community!🙏
This is the small concrete park on the Southeast side of the corner. It has lovely rainbow lights that are mainly visible at night and is a lovely place to sit & listen to the city go by while enjoying nature.
You will find there is a McDonald's and 24-hour Shoppers Drug Mart south of here. I urge you not to litter because once the blue tent church group showed up the park became overrun with rats.💔
In Canada I would remind you not to judge people because whether you don't speak English or don't speak any language you are welcome in Canada & are supposed to try to create conversation!😎
🙏Please remember that we can be forgiving of each other especially on a busy corner like this don't be too sensitive about language or how people act just don't be violent & take life easy!
Now to those of you reading this new to the area this is the corner of 5 & 10, named after Highway 5 & Highway 10. Otherwise known as Dundas and Hurontario. I did years of community work here...
People would come from across the world to have a drink and listen to music in the summer sun under the trees making memories, mistakes, music, mistakes, friends forever & even families!
I have passed by this area for much of my life I was born in Meadowvale & I would meet people here from across the city people who recognized me & remembered me from the years!👋🥰😘🤗
On this corner you will find picnic tables and it's a great place to have a snack. It's not the best for kids because it's a busy traffic intersection but don't be judgmental of this Canadian corner!🇨🇦🙏
🤔This used to be a very busy area for police occurrences but it's the Heart of the City because dundas heads to Toronto there's a 24-hour bus I would find myself on this corner year after year!
Please remember it is a highly populated area and to be safe and not to cause trouble. This area can be lonely at night but it's highly monitored there's a CCTV. Please try to accept each other!
Welcome to Mississauga. I lived here most of my life & I miss riding my bicycle and dancing on the corner but I've been broke after a surgery. I can be seen dancing or crying in the park!(crying is ok)🤗
🙏🥰Try to be polite & use the recycling bins. You will find a weed dispensary just south you can go to Montfort Grill one block east or find Tim Hortons two blocks West! Enjoy the area!🌎🌍🌏"
