The state-of-the-art makerspace, gaming room, and engaging children's area are frequently highlighted as major draws. "Was amazed to see this library, so modern, posh with so many resources available. Becoming a member was a breeze. Great collection of books with massive space to hang out read books or work there. In summer they have book club and encourage children to read and spend time in the library. They also have a gaming room with PS5, XBox, gaming pcs. The maker space is awesome with sewing machines, 3D printer, vinyl cutter, circuit etc and have many introduction sessions to use these. Their collection of regional books and news papers from different countries is pretty decent. Love spending time with kids in library during summer and most weekends. They also have passes to Royal Ontario museum which you can borrow for a week. I also saw pickle ball shuttle and ball set but I have never tried borrowing that. I have seen some schedules like movie night, family game day, Lego day etc but yet to try them in winter. The staff is helpful and kind. Overall it’s the best any city can have."

"Pretty amazing place. They've got the whole package. The architecture is beautiful and modern. The facilities are modern, clean, and spacious. Almost everything except for consumable resources are free. Lots of seating and various areas. The staff are amazing. Everybody there we spoke to were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We went to a makerspace workshop by Abby which was free and informative. The amount of stuff they have available for the public to use is astounding including computers, printers, 3D printers, sewing machines, and more. They have laser, vinyl, and Cricut cutters. Jess and David at the counter were so helpful and explained and toured us around to see things. They even directed us upstairs where we met Curtis who took us into the photo and video archive workspace where you can bring your old media to be converted into a more modern digital form. I can't say enough about how amazing it is that we have such a high quality free resource, and it makes me proud and grateful to be a Mississauga resident when you experience something like this.
Shout out to Aras and Justin in the makerspace who were a great help with the vinyl pinter/cutter and the 3D scanner going above and beyond."
