What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Nanaimo Public Art Walk for its accessibility and the engaging nature of the art, particularly for families. The Nanaimo Art Gallery is highlighted as a valuable community hub with donation-based entry and enjoyable family activities. Some note the gallery's size is intimate, but the overall experience is enriching.
"The Bombhead exhibit was up when I visited - interesting collection to view and read about given the European war currently going on.
The gallery itself is small, one large room and a smaller closed-door room to view video. But everything is set up very well and entrance is by donation. It's also centrally located in the arts district within a few minutes of the Nanaimo Museum and Vancouver Island Military Museum - I visited all three and made for a fun/educational afternoon."
Janice Chau
"Every Sunday they have nice family art activity free for members. My daughter love it to visit and use her imagination!"
Nadiya Albishchenko
"My daughter takes regular classes at the gallery and today her and her class had their art on display for the public. I love all the support she gets and what they have to offer everyone."
