"While researching museum/art gallery wedding venues in Durham, my now-husband and I came across the RMG. We booked a tour right away and met with Carole. The tour was great and Carole is so personable. We ended up booking the Isabel Gallery for the ceremony, Arthur's for the reception, and the Lobby for welcomes and dancing. Although we didn't book the backyard, we were still welcome to use it for our wedding photographs. We then visited again just to explore the gallery, and wow! It's so much bigger than it looks. There were so many exhibits filled with amazing art from both classic and contemporary artists. We even saw works from students of nearby schools (such talented young artists)! The wedding day came and everything happened so seamlessly, even with the 4pm set-up time. The team set everything up so quickly and exactly the way we had planned in our set-up maps (provided by Carole). The team, especially Carole and Brigitte, are so kind and upbeat, it was truly such a wonderful day! Our friends and family can't stop talking about what a wonderful venue we chose. We even visited soon after the wedding as we left some of our items, and Carole kindly set them aside for us to pick up. We look forward to visiting again soon!"
