While the setting and wines are often lauded, some guests have noted that the service can feel more like a restaurant patio experience than a traditional winery, with less in-depth explanation of the wines.
"We hosted a 30 person lunch and wine tasting at Clossen Chase, and they were PHENOMENAL! Early on, their event coordinator had calls with us to get direction for the reservation, and to confirm allergies. The event itself went off without a hitch, with delicious foods, a perfect selection of wines, and DELICIOUS options for those with food intolerances and those who did not drink. We were in a pinch for timing at the end (of our own accord), and the group was so great at providing to go options for our dessert and coffee. Thank you so much folks - you did such a great job!"

"Lovely Winery. Beautiful setting. I wish they had more white wines available for tasting but they had sold out. I was visiting in mid October. White Bean hummus and olives were very tasty and they accommodated my gluten intolerance."

"One of the most charming wineries I’ve been to in the area. The garden and indoor space are both very tastefully designed. Amazing for photo shots. The wines were tasty but very similar in taste to each other. There is however no real wine tasting experience were someone explains and goes through the wines with you so not as much wine tasting experience as it is sitting in a very pretty garden and have a glass of good quality local wine ."
