"We went here July 15 2023
It was recently opened. We loved it.
The swimming pool was closed when we arrived at 8PM. The kids enjoyed their time playing in the sprinklers.
They also have changing rooms where you can change as long with a restaurant.
I love the effect as if you were basically in the saint Lawerence river.
It is a beautiful spot."

Carly Lessard

"the most beautiful and design-y park i’ve ever been to! such a pleasure to be able to run along the river and see cool architectures throughout. the pavilions are so artistically designed. one area of improvement, many sinks and water fountains are not functional. while i appreciate the LED lights around the sink handle, having running water should be a bigger priority."

The Evolution of the Promenade

The Promenade Samuel-De Champlain is a testament to urban revitalization and waterfront development in Quebec City. Initially conceived as a way to reconnect the city with its riverfront, it has undergone several phases of expansion and enhancement. The most recent phases have introduced significant new attractions, transforming it into a dynamic recreational hub.

Phase 3, in particular, brought the highly anticipated 'Station de la Plage' (Beach Station) and the infinity pool, creating an urban oasis that mimics a seaside resort. This phase focuses on leisure and relaxation, offering sandy areas, water features, and ample space for sunbathing and picnicking. It's designed to be a vibrant summer destination, drawing locals and tourists alike to enjoy the St. Lawrence River in a new way. TikTokInstagram+1

Further development, like Phase 4, continues to expand the Promenade's offerings, including a 'cyclopédienne' (bicycle-focused) boulevard and more green spaces. This ongoing evolution ensures the Promenade remains a key attraction, blending nature, recreation, and modern design along the Quebec City shoreline. TikTok
