Rainy Sundays call for waterfall adventures and salmon chasing. Begbie Falls didn’t disappoint—unlike my boots, which turned out to have a hole and weren’t waterproof anymore. Pro tip don’t keep them in the same RamBox as your tools. - - - @aquatech_imagingsolutions #RevelstokeAdventures #BegbieFalls #RainyDayHikes #ChasingWaterfalls #SalmonRun #SoloAdventure #NatureVibes #ExploreBC #WaterfallHun...

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Begbie Falls for its stunning double waterfall and the rewarding, albeit sometimes challenging, hike. The natural beauty is a major draw, though the rough logging road and intense mosquitoes are common drawbacks that can detract from the experience. InstagramReddit

"Lovely view!
The road to the falls is very narrow and doesn't easily allow two cars to pass eachother. My partner and I decided to park and walk most of it. Bring bug spray! I debated and should have just brought it! The bugs were bad even close to the falls so we couldn't stay long to enjoy the view...we were being eaten alive!
Beautiful spot and not too bad of a hike up and down!"

Rebecca Martin

"Nice short hike a lot of ups and downs. We took the logging road & it’s rough & bumpy, okay in a truck but I saw cars down there just drive slow. Don’t park at the top of the road, there isn’t much for signs but a no turnaround arrow, but it’s one way and once you’re at the bottom lot you can park and turn around. Lots of nice natural stairs with the tree roots growing out of the ground. There isn’t any benches to sit at the end of the path, there’s a little overhang. No bathrooms here either. Lots of mosquitoes. But it’s very pretty for an in and out trip."

Christina Gompf-Alksne

"This is an amazingly beautiful waterfall and the last 300 m down to see it is excellent. I decided to park just before the campsite, so I walked 2 km there and back. The mosquitoes were quite bad so I was grateful for someone who offered me some bug spray. There is an outhouse at the final parking lot before the waterfall, as well as several along the way if you park sooner. It looks like a great place to camp, in fact.
I think the final walk down would be difficult for people with mobility issues. But it seems perfect for a family with young children."
