Located near King's Square (an equally enjoyable park), the Loyalist Burial Ground is the resting place of many Americans/Loyalists who migrated north to escape the Revolutionary War. The oldest gravestone is dated at 1784, belonging to Coonradt Hendricks.
The grounds are constructed almost like a natural park. There are various paths to take across the hilly, green, tree-shadowed land. The tall iron gates at the front mark the iconic entry point.
