What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Brunswick Square in Saint John is a mall with a past, now characterized by many empty storefronts and a quiet atmosphere. While it retains some operational businesses and services, and is connected to hotels, its decline is noticeable. Visitors appreciate its potential and convenient location but note the lack of vibrancy and sometimes unwelcoming administrative attitude.
"I was taking photos of the mall for family who used to live in New Brunswick and moved, and the security told me off. The security officer was nice and polite though, and recommended that I could ask the admin office for permission.
The administration of the mall were very rude however, and I think their hostile attitude to patrons of the mall is the reason why the mall is failing and has lost most of it's tenants."

"Cool mall but pretty dead. Has multiple floors, and connected to a hotel. Still has stores that work and operate."

"A mall that seemingly has more past than the future. The amount of empty shops around the building is extremely alarming and while the building itself is massive and spacious and comfortable, I really cannot help but be unnerved at the high amount of occupancy in the entire mall
I have no doubt that once this was a very thriving spot, but now is only a shadow of its former self. Even the food court only has 3 shops open out off a total of about 8 or 9 spots. The small positive side is that it seems to still be holding a high amount of thriving businesses like a dental center and is connected immediately to the delta hotel."
