Victoria Bridge Entrance Review

9/10, would definitely recommend. We were running a little late getting into town before qualifying so we decided to uber over to the new entrance rather than taking the metro. Drop off point is in a parking lot at the below address: 151 Rue de l'Écluse, Saint-Lambert, QC…

Canadian GP: Victoria Entrance

I’m sitting in section 12 so it would make sense to go through the Victoria entrance but I have gone to the race the last 2 years and never knew about that entrance. So I am wondering is it limited? And would someone with a ticket to section 12 and no other VIP stuff be allowed…

"Cool historic bridge with great views."

"My mom and I have taken Amtrak over this bridge twice because traveling to and from Montreal to NYC. Also, the bridge carries freight and passenger trains. The Victoria Bridge in Montreal, opened in 1860, was the first bridge to span the St. Lawrence River and was initially the longest bridge in the world. Originally a single-track tubular bridge designed by Robert Stephenson, it was a crucial project for the Grand Trunk Railway, helping to connect Montreal to Atlantic seaports. The bridge was later rebuilt as a two-track truss bridge in 1898 and expanded to accommodate road traffic, eventually becoming a major part of the Canadian National Railway network."

Jonathan

"During our Montreal trip, we took special detour to not cross but ride on this bridge and the slow ride still lingers i our mind and the photos reveal the beauty it showcases on both sides.

Another surprise once we were half across, a train 🚊 approached from opposite direction and a simultaneous ride was momental.

Later learnt of its historical importance as built of 1860 and longest bridge at that time.

Ride once to enjoy Montreal."
