Anyone been to the EcoMuseum?
My girlfriend and I are trying to think of something to do tomorrow, and she suggested going to the Ecomuseum. Its less than a half hour away, cheap admission... and we've gone to parc safari, biodome and Granby within the lasy year. My question is, is it worth it? I know its…

Best Zoo in “ Montreal “
Hey everyone, I’m looking for the best zoo that maybe you’ve been to that’s not necessarily in Montreal but a maximum of 1hr30 away. I know Granby zoo is the most popular but is it actually the best zoo? I’ve seen omega as well. Thank you!
Are animals in the Biodôme well treated?
My wife wants to go to the Biodôme in Montréal because it will open soon but she's also concerned about the well-being of the animals so she doesn't want to support a place where animals suffer. Would you consider it a sanctuary for animals or a cruel place like Sea World?
🌿 Natural Habitats
Expect realistic enclosures designed for native species, not a typical zoo layout.
✋ Hands-on Learning
Enjoy opportunities to touch animals like snakes and turtles, and learn from staff.

"I went via my work and it was actually great when we have kids , lots of activities for kids every where.
Animals were limited, yet they mostly have arctic species. Well, it’s not like a complete zoo rather it’s an ecomuseum.
The washrooms were not accessible easily though, as it was only at entrance.
I personally enjoyed animal enrichment where I fed a coyote with pepper filled with some flavours . I felt sad as the coyote has only 3 legs yet, he’s been treated with great care .Kudos to the teams 👏👏
We also had an advantage to touch a rat snake and turtle shell in-person that was an awesome experience.
Overall, it’s a fun filled for kids for sure. A perfect family trip
They have a boutique we were given 15% discount since we went through our work.
I personally appreciate all the crew members for explaining me about these animals and their habitats. I certainly learned something today for sure"

"A great zoo 30 min drive from downtown, the enclosures all seem fantastic. While many animals were asleep I still saw nearly all of them. Even saw the lynxs hunting. Worth the visit and support. Seems like a great spot to bring kids"

"My family and I had a great visit. We were happy to see a zoo, where animals were living in habitats very close to their natural environment. We were able to see a large amount of the animals on a very hot day. Some of the animals were trying to cool off in the shade and we were unable to see them. I am thankful that the zoo has the animals in habitats where they can avoid the rain and the sun if they need it. Great location I would go again.
There are also a ton of swings obstacles and things for young kids to play while walking through the zoo. My kids absolutely loved seeing exhibits getting to climb a jungle Jim seeing exhibit getting to go on a swing seeing more exhibits than going through a maze."
