Reviews Summary
Visitors praise R.J. Haney Heritage Village for its charming historical buildings, family-friendly activities like gold panning, and beautiful grounds perfect for photos. Special events, such as the Cowboy Campfire Show, are highlighted as engaging experiences. However, dining at the on-site restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some finding the portions small for the price.
"Great place to tour old buildings, relax in the gardens and go to the restaurant. It took us about 2 hours to go through all the buildings on site. After we went to the restaurant on site. Wasn’t too pleased with the meal. We got the salmon and vegetables which was the menu special which was $20. Very tasty but serving was small for the price. Also ordered the harvest sandwich which comes with ham and chicken with tomato and cheese and lettuce. The ham was not ready so substituted with roasted beef. The bread was a tad dry and was falling apart. Not happy with the overall meal. I gave a 5 star rating as the village was great but would give a 3 star for the restaurant"

"We went to the Cowboy Campfire Show with Rob Dinwoodie, Kevin, Dixon and the Cowboy poet and author Ken Mather. A great experience for all. They had everyone involved from the steer roping to singing. Such a perfect venue for evenings like that. I hope that they will be back next year.
On top of all of that, the hamburgers were very tasty. Thanks so much to everyone."
