Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise St. Albert Botanic Park for its beauty, meticulous maintenance, and the incredible fact that it's free to enter. Many highlight it as a peaceful escape and a perfect spot for photography, with special mentions for the rose garden and gazebo. Some note that it's best enjoyed during peak bloom seasons for the most vibrant displays.
"We stumbled upon the botanical gardens by accident during a spontaneous drive to St. Albert from Edmonton. What a find! It has been quite hot lately and it's near the end of the year so I imagine everything would be even brighter during the earlier months, but as it was the gardens were absolutely lovely to walk through and quite a gem to find! We will most definitely be back. We are seniors so we really appreciated the multiple benches dotted throughout the garden so we could sit and rest up, and having all the plants named was a big bonus as well too. Apparently the gazebo is a recent feature. And it looks like there may be more additions coming in the future. Highly recommend this lovely visual and fragrant walk in St Albert!
PS: The free parking was much appreciated as well, and the gift shop was charming!"

"It was the end of the season but still a very nice facility. You can see the hard work just by looking at how well the beds have been weeded. It looks very well maintained. The different types of flowers and trees are numerous. It looks like a great place to take wedding photos. There is also a very nice Gazebo. I find that the whole city is always looking Prim, trimed & proper! I am from Edmonton & we have decided to go with the more natural look!!
Way to go St. Alberta! No charge $"
