"Welland Canals Advocates guided walk was enlightening. Details of historical points are easily overlooked without a guide. Very nice walk on variable texture pathways, including low lying watery grass. Some gentle rolling inclines, a bridge over rushing waters, lockmasters homes and historical plaques. Ticks are known to be present. Can you see the lock number inscribed on the wall? Check it out!"

"An interesting wild area along Mountain Lock (not in use). The bike trail is shaded and the other side was grass mown. Dogs should be on leash only. It's not far from Restaurants for a pint."
