"Port Dalhousie East Pier is one of those peaceful spots that instantly makes you slow down and take a deep breath. I visited on a warm afternoon and was immediately drawn in by the calm vibe, the gentle sounds of the water, and the beautiful views stretching out over Lake Ontario. Whether you're going for a morning walk or catching the sunset, this pier is the kind of place that invites you to stay a little longer.
The path is well-maintained, perfect for walking, biking, or just finding a bench to sit and watch the sailboats glide by. On one side, you’ve got the serene Martindale Pond and on the other, open lake views that feel endless. It’s a favorite spot for locals out on strolls, jogs, or walking their dogs.
What I loved most was the sense of calm it brings—away from the hustle, just water, sky, and wind. The nearby lighthouse adds a touch of charm, and on clear days you can see the Toronto skyline in the distance.
If you're visiting St. Catharines or just want a quiet escape with nature and a view, Port Dalhousie East Pier is the perfect place to pause and recharge."

"I saw an account on Instagram post about the chicken sandwich and I knew I had to try it. You will not be disappointed with the size and taste of the sandwich. The chicken is crunchy and juicy and saucy to my liking. The fish and chips are also delicious to my wife's desire. The views are great since you can sit on the patio and enjoy the sailboats and yachts that come into the marina. The waitress we had was friendly, quick with drinks and our meal was delivered in a timely fashion. Go try this place out, you won't be disappointed and will be full forsure!!"
