Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise St. Jacobs Farmers' Market for its vast selection of vendors, delicious food, and lively atmosphere. Many highlight the fresh produce and unique crafts as major draws. However, the significant crowds and parking difficulties, especially on Saturdays, are frequently mentioned drawbacks.

"A vibrant and lively market worth visiting!
This market offers a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, alongside unique handmade and locally sourced products. You’ll also find a variety of food vendors representing different cuisines — a few stalls even cater to vegan and vegetarian diets.

The food court area can get crowded, especially around lunch hours, so be prepared for lines at popular spots. There’s often live entertainment, which adds to the atmosphere and makes the visit even more enjoyable.

It’s a busy place, especially on weekends and holidays, so I recommend planning your visit early in the day. Seating can be limited during peak times, but there are usually some shaded spots to relax. Most vendors accept card payments, but it’s always a good idea to carry some cash just in case.

On-site parking is available, but it can be a bit of a wait to find a spot — think Costco-level patience. Street parking in nearby areas may also be an option depending on the time of day.

Public restrooms are available, and the entire market is family-friendly. You can easily spend a couple of hours here browsing, eating, and soaking in the atmosphere.

Overall, a great place to explore, eat, and support local businesses!"

"Love the vibes here, so many stores, food, farm produce and people. Although it is hard to find parking spot, it has long lines for anything popular, it is always fun and there is always something to draw us back during the summer. We left home around 11am from north of Toronto and drove about 2 hours as there was traffic. When we arrived, it has been past 1 pm. We lined up for brunch and coffee and then the most famous ling line for Apple Fritter. It was 3:30pm already. While one person in the line, other people went around to get some fruits, drinks and so on. The time went by fast. The market closes at 3:30pm. Everything is on big sale during the last 30 mins. So got something really cheap. It was fun. We will be back again next summer😻"

"Really varied organic and healthy food stuffs. Lots of different vendors and a real canadian spectacle of togetherness

Really nice atmosphere, everyone tidies up after themselves. It's got the festival feel every time you go. And you can always pick up old favorites and be treated by newcomers. We take a monthly trip, and it's always Different and the same- people make it what it is"
