What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Crescent Park is praised for its beautiful natural setting, extensive walking trails, and especially its fantastic playground in the North section. Visitors appreciate the open spaces for picnics and the chance to see wildlife. However, concerns have been raised about off-leash dogs and occasional car break-ins in the parking lot, which detract from an otherwise highly enjoyable experience.
"Although this park has a beautiful forest and some decent trails to walk Crescent Park has some very entitled dog walkers who literally everyday disobey the basic law of “ no off leash dogs “ . This is especially concerning when I have been attacked by several on 2 different occasions. One of the times I was bitten and my jacket was ripped . This is a very serious issue that By Law is ignoring. I have had dogs all my life and I am not afraid of them even when I was attacked . But my concern is not for me but for children and family’s or anyone who is afraid of dogs should not have to deal with this blatant disregard for the public and public safety. Every time I go to the park there’s several people walking there dogs off leash and some are friendly it does not mean it gives them the right to act like the park is there own personal dog park .even on a very slow day at a time where there was very little people at the park I still managed to come across 3 different dogs off leash .. and some owners are nice but others are extremely ignorant and entitled . This could be a 4 star park but it’s barely a 2 star"

"Our first time here for the play group. I passed by often because we went to Creasent beach all the time but never dropped by. So I didn't know where is the entrance. I used Google map which brought me to the other side of the park at 26 Ave but nothing there so I drove back because I remembered that I drove pass the sign so I tried and found the entrance then when we left eventually just turned into 129 st and the entrance just right there. Don't need to turn at 128 st like google map said. This for who visits the park for the first time so won't get confused like me
Anyway, we had so much fun with the playgroup which my friend invited me to join them. They have it every Friday at 10 am. Then we played at the playground. Walked around and saw a duck then picnic, so much fun! Lots of big trees and pond. Will definitely go back to check all the trails because too busy today so only one trail we checked out. Clean washrooms, picnic tables, big parking lot.
Warning: someone said the car got broke in twice both parking lot. One took diaper bag maybe they thought had valuable stuffs inside so just please be careful when you parked there. It happend at lunch time"

"Beautiful park! We spent the day here for Mother’s Day and saw a beaver swimming to build a dam and 4 turtles sunbathing at the pond. So amazing! They have a playground, restrooms, and many picnic tables. Also a great place for walking or playing with your dogs."
