What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Surrey Centre Cemetery elicits mixed reviews, with some visitors praising the well-maintained grounds and helpful staff, while others express significant disappointment over the disrepair of certain graves. Concerns about safety and inconsistent upkeep are noted, though many find it a peaceful place for reflection.
"I feel absolutely disgusted by the state of some of the graves here. Totally disrespectful. Clearly the maintenance here is really poor. I understand that having the family come regular ly to maintain the graves makes a difference, but still this is so disrespectful and the cemetery has a responsibility to maintain the graves to a certain extent. You can’t even see these people’s names anymore! Families that live far away/are unable to visit frequently should not have to worry about their loved one’s graves falling into complete disrepair like this."

"Once again the lawn is full of huge weeds, no water but at least they now have a flat deck trailer with water available I brought my own after last year’s Mother’s Day when I put out flowers and no water was available not even a sign as you enter stating this so people would have an option to leave and get some.
I have three cremated graves here vases missing on two! Plan on phoning about that, probably stolen. Very disappointed ☹️"

"My Dad is buried here. The grounds are well maintained by the staff and they remove flowers that are past their best. The staff were very helpful during my visits there. The local cemetery in my Scottish home town is a disgrace in comparison to Surrey Centre Cemetery."
