What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking natural beauty of Fathom Five National Marine Park, particularly the unique 'flowerpot' rock formations and crystal-clear waters. The shipwreck tours are a major highlight, offering a fascinating glimpse into history. While some find the island's wildlife a bit unnerving, the overall consensus is that the park is a must-visit for its stunning landscapes and memorable experiences.
"We had a wonderful experience walking along the beautiful trails. Spending 3 to 4 hours here is definitely worth it with friends and family. We took a cruise to this location, which charged $69 per adult and $60 per child for a 3-hour tour. The scenery was breathtaking, and the overall experience made the visit truly worthwhile. The combination of natural beauty and quality time with loved ones made it a memorable outing."

"Fathom Five is truly unique, offering an exceptional natural experience. It’s one of the most amazing and accessible National parks from Toronto (~4 hours), exposing nature at its finest with its distinctive flower-pot like rocky formations. With lots of trails, the island easily keeps you occupied for several hours.
However, be aware that the island, with its wild environment, is home to numerous lizards, snakes, and spiders. For those who are uneasy around insects and reptiles, like myself, it can be an uncomfortable walk. Despite this, the park’s stunning landscapes make it an unforgettable and must visit location.
The boat rides are a lot of fun, especially if you opt for the sunken ship wreckage tour. It also offers a great view of the Big Tub Lighthouse and Harbour, so definitely worth it."

"We visited the park while hiking the Bruce Trail and hiked around there too. There are some nice loops to take with stunning views of Georgian Bay. You can even see one of the 'flower pots' from the shore. We have been on boat tours in the past which are also wonderful."
